I finally shot a G20 today and it was much easier than I thought! I normally carry a M&P shield 45 and I have always shot this very well but the G20 was actually easier to hold onto! To me it had a push along with a slight snappiness and I shot it very well and ir was very controllable. I put 50 rounds down range and then about 200 in the 45 shield and about 100 in my compact 9 and my hand was still not tired so I was happy about that. Now that I tried it I have to figure out how to buy the G29, so I guess its time to see what I can sell to buy me a new toy! I have a question, once I figure out what to sell, I would prefer to only sell to someone who has a CHL/LTC but also where is a good place to sell, I dont want anyone coming to my house, what do other people do?

Is this going to be your primary carry weapon?
Otherwise, why a 29 instead of a 20 or even a 40 for a range gun with the MOS slide?

Since you live in Allen, you could always meet in the Cabelas parking lot for the hand off.

The G29 is the compact version of the G20, correct? Have you shot one? They may not feel the same, that 10MM is a pretty strong cartridge and may not translate well to a smaller gun. But I'm just thinking out loud, I've never shot a G29.

I have a G20 and I too was surprised by how easy and comfortably it shoots. Not only is it one of my favorite guns for target practice, I carry it as my woods gun and feel confident that it would be able to take down a wild hog if need be. Hopefully someday I'll get the chance to find out...

I want to carry so thats why I wanted the G29, It was very easy to shoot and I had no issues at all but if I buy one I would have to change the sights! The ammo was S&B 180 gr and it was marked 11.7 gr on the box but I dont know what powder was in it. To me it seemed to be mild and I really expected more punch but I like it enough to buy one. I never thought about going to Cabelas but I just have to pick out what I want to sell.

    Pretty hot*

    *For commerical 10mm offerings

Though a power factor of 225.0 isn't exactly a sissy load.

    A .357 load of 125 gr at 1450 is 181.25 and that's exactly a mouse fart load.

This x2. I've had my G22 for 20+ years and several years ago I bought the G27 figuring the difference would be negligible. Boy was I wrong! That subcompact frame was a bugger compared to the large frame. I don't have that G27 any more!

As far as sales locations; I've done them at Academy and Best Buy parking lots. Or you could try your local PD.

Would you only sell to someone licensed and did you do the transaction in your car?
Assuming this is directed at me; transactions took place outside of our vehicles for the whole world to see. I personally asked to see LTC (no bill of sale), but that's up to you.
