I was out at my place Friday Saturday and Sunday this weekend and got to hunt Friday and Saturday nights. I got to the ranch late Friday night about 0200 and stayed out till sun rise. I walked up to the highest part of my ranch where I have a 40 acre pasture, I can see about 500 yards to the northern fence. So after about 20 minutes of setting still I had a large sounder cross my western fence in to my pasture. They were about 200 yards out, so off I went, slow and deliberate with the moon up I had an easy time waking and easily got within 75 yards. I surveyed the sounder and found a huge sow, I sighted in on her and dropped her in her tracks, swung to the right and caught sight of a small boar just stopped and looking around so down he went. I walked over and took a few pictures of them and went back to my chair and sat for about three hours and right before sun up I spotted another sounder at the far north fence so off I went. I took me about half an hour till I was within 100 yards. It was just getting light so my photon was whiting out so I had to close the lens cap to see out the small hole. The sounder had about ten hogs so I just picked the closest one and shot her then hit two more on the way through the fence to my heavy woods. I found one later Saturday afternoon by following the buzzards. On Saturday night I walked out the house and about 75 yards there was six hogs I walked up to the fence set the rifle on a corner post and took two and called it a night.
