Was just watching this again and it always makes me smile. He’s from NC, where I spent most of my younger years, yet has a song all about TEXAS! Some of it cliche? Yes. But even outsiders know what things are Texan. All the catch-phrases are known far and wide.

Don't know how, but Chris has a bit of Leon Russell, Ray Charles and Willie somewhere in those genes. A major talent for sure ... in a perfect country music world he would be a bigger name than he currently is.
He will be playing at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo on March 14th, 2019.
