    Installed a Gremlin Bell.

Following all the rules. It was bought by a love one as a gift and it was hung on the lowest part of the bike. (Secured to a tab protruding off the engine case right above the oil pan. Wired using some brass wire. Double loop and twisted. It's not coming off.)

The bell gifted has a POW/MIA motif.

After watching all the videos and reading all the sites. Today I got off my a$$ and went to the Kawasaki and Yamaha dealer. Second stop was the Honda, KTM, Triumph, Suzuki dealer.

I sat on a Ninja 400 and 600. Then I tried the real objective. A Z125. Luckily they had a used Grom.

The Z125 is a nice bike but my knees don't fit underneath the side flairings. It's a two sharp edges on the inside of my knees. Foot on pegs, any position on the seat.

The Grom has flatter sides with a deeper seat. The fit was easier.

Just me. Getting in after refueling and I heard a thump. Then when I was running down the street I kept hearing a rattle. Upon inspection I found the front of it not attached anymore. I could probably weld it back up, but I think I’ll just put a better quality set on there.

Something in this thread made me think of something. When I first got my truck, I went to where I gather fallen oak to use in the smoker. I managed to high side it. I put it in 4WD for the 1st time, and muscled it out. On the way home, it was making a horrible racket. I figured it couldn't be good. Got home, and found out it was the spare tire carrier dragging the ground.

    What a relief !!!

Today is all about making a bracket to hold the licence plate. The extended fender thing has to go away. You'd think that Honda would smooth their bikes down instead of a using Shrek ears design on the turn signals.

Why they made the extended fender protrusion looking thing is a mystery. All of it could've be tucked and streamlined under the seat section. Not stuck out like a pecker.

It go's away today. I have sheet aluminum that'll do nicely.

My ex SIL did this to my truck yesterday, my A/C had quit working. Here is the text he sent me...

"orifice tube was clogged and your high side port was leaking all the freon out. A/C Belt is changed the other one had cracks and cabin air filters changed"

Yep, the orifice is located inside a port on the dryer. I don't know why they call it that. It's an inline filter that keeps metal shavings coming out of the compressor from being pumped into the evaporator and the rest of the system. Clogging it up.

If the orifice gets clogged. It raises the high side pressure. Causes it to leak....or blows up the high side hose.

If there's enough metal shavings in the orifice. A new compressor is suggested.
