I've posted about it here in previous threads about Freedom Munitions. Some don't want to hear it, so whatever. I shot a lot of their ammo and when it happened the second time, I was done.

I was actually saying that I've never heard about "blown primers", I literally had to Google it.

As I posted earlier, their prices haven't been competitive lately as far as I'm concerned.
I haven't bought anything from them in probably 2 years.

Speaking of primers. When they first offered primers, I bought a bunch. Waited, and waited, and waited, they contacted me about cancelling or waiting so I waited some more. They contacted me again (about a year after ordering) and that time I cancelled and got refunded. I can't imagine that's an easy business to be in, but I too started shopping elsewhere when their prices went pretty far north of the competition. Stinks, because they're right down the road from me and I could easily drop by at lunch.

They are right around the corner from me & had only been in a few times when they first opened to purchase some ammo. I guess the main reason i never purchased from them afterwards, is i ran into a guy at a gun store & he was talking to the owner & said his was shooting their ammo & his new Noveske blew up with a bad round. He had fresh wounds from the accident on his arms & face is one of the reasons why i believed him. I know it can happen with any manufacture but it made a believer out of me with their ammo...
    just my .02

Ammoseek.com is a good resource that i use when looking for ammo.
who's to say that it wasn't the guys gun that was broken or had something wrong wiht it that cause it to have a catastrophic failure... He coulda just been salty and looked to blame the ammo supplier.

i guess it could have been the new gun, but i have heard more bad stories with Freedom Munitions ammo than with Noveske rifles. The only problem with Noveske's is trying to pay for one...lol.

    shot about 500 rounds of 9mm in 147 and 165. Seemed good, so I ordered 2000 165s.

Had 9 *squibs* (2 stuck in BBL rest barely made it out) in first 500.

Fortunately they refunded my money on the ramaining 1500 rounds.

The last time we went up to Jersey Village to their store, the staff was rude as hell to both me and my wife. I called the corporate office and left a message, it was so bad. Never did hear back from them. No great loss in my book.

Had a similar experience with them. Non-competitive prices on their ammo and that kind of service didn't give me much of a reason to come back. Now that the market has loosened up significantly, they couldn't get by on just being there.

Same for me a while back plus the retail prices were much higher than online.
Sales tax was an added minus.
