Those are some really nice looking HP bullets....
Couple questions. I've never cast my own bullets. Does powder coating help prevent or cause more fouling in the barrel? Does it affect the ballistics at all?View attachment 136186 View attachment 136187 View attachment 136188
Casting coating and sizing bullets the past couple of days. The first picture is of H&G #68 bullets with powder coating. Second pic is of the RCBS 201 SWC, and the third picture is of my new NOE 130 gr 9mm hollow point mold, both powder coated and Hi-Tek.
I haven't powder coated any bullets in a coon's age so I decided to do a few. I've got another ~500 of the 9mm bullets to do and another 300 of the RCBS. I've got a bunch of the H&G bullets cast up. I actually prefer the RCBS for some reason. That sucks in a way as the H&G mold is a four cavity and the RCBS is a two.
The 9mm is my first four cavity HP mold and now I'm kicking myself because my other four hollow point molds are only two cavity.

How do you like those accubonds and LR-X's? I'm down to about 100 of the 123g AMAX's for my Grendel. Some Red(AMAX) White(Accubond) and Blue(LR-X) goodies and a few more Red. Merica! Grendel food. View attachment 136548 View attachment 136549

Haven't made it to the range yet. I'll record the data and get back though. I've got a magnetospeed to check velocities. How do you like those accubonds and LR-X's? I'm down to about 100 of the 123g AMAX's for my Grendel.
I wish, if you could make them I'd like some more. Got them from CNCShooter.net but he no longer works at a machine shop so you can't get them anymore. There is a company in Tyler, Tx longrangeaccuracy.net I'd like to support but they're trays aren't as refined in my opinion. I've got 1 300blk and 1 458 socom tray as well.Really like your loading trays. Did you machine those yourself. Looks like something I could make on my CC mill pretty easy.

Those command a lot of coin.Area 419 did offer those awesome machined trays.
It’d be neat to have a local alternative
