So I'm in the Navy and stationed here at NAS Fort Worth. Grew up in Texas and being stationed back home has been nice. Now I must move on and going to Whidbey Island Washington.

How does this have to do with guns?
Well I'm excited to have a ton of federal public land to be able to hunt and shoot on. I know they tried to pass a 10 round magazine law but the luckily the citizens of the state voted it down.

Going to stay out of the liberal bastion Seattle except to go watch my Rangers play the Mariners

From what I hear that's really the only very liberal part of the state

Brother lives outside of Spokane, liberal as they come. Hard to believe he comes from the same family. Then again, as the baby of the family got treated like the royal son, with everything handed to him on a silver platter. I'd blame it on the water, he'd blame Trump, but being 13 years older, I got outta Dodge before I could whip his ass into shape. Too bad because the SOB now negates my vote ...

I have a fishing tip for you. Down I-5 towards Portland, there is a place called Mayfield Lake. Fish there in June and July. Amazing trout fishery. You will need a boat, but troll for those trout, and you will not be disappointed.

I went several years ago, and the water (snow melt from the mountains) was so cold, there was frost forming on the bottom of the boat. Early June is your best time to go.

Be sure to bring a cooler. Limit is five in the boat. We caught five, went in and cleaned them. Went back out and caught five more. Check the current limits to be safe. Boat limit and possession limits are different.

They have a little campground there to stay at.
