Pics are slowly coming through from my phone to tablet.
Meanwhile, I want to share a story.

As usual, the lever action and a box of .38 spl reloads went to the range with me. Most of the guys took a turn at it.
I'd shot quite a few myself from a rested position. Did ok, so I thought.
Southpaw saunters over and kinda points to it and gives me a look. (Ear pro and being half deaf anyway, I don't need it spelled out most times).
So, we get Southpaw set up with 5 rounds of plinking reloads. He fires off 2 rounds and asks, "what's the deal with these sights?".
I tell him to tuck the front bead into the small of the rear buckhorn and hold at 6 o'clock.
"Oh, ok". Bang! Bullseye. Bang! Bullseye. Bang! Bullseye.

Just gimme back my gun! Loan Southpaw a gun and he returns it with a helping of humble pie.

    Y'all been warned.

Nice to meet you too Robert, it was awesome to get to try the riffles out. Now I have to decide if I want to get a .22 or save up for an AR. I wanted a 1911, but looks like I may change my mind.

Good to meet you today. That S&W pistol is a very cool gun.

Check this out. Modern Firearms - S&W 39, 59 and others

It shows most of the different 3rd gen S&W models.

Vaquero shot my 10/22 quite nicely.

I was impressed with the Remington 22's. Big ups to southpaw for letting me checkout that PTR!
+1 on the PTR you bastard SP. I thought I was happy with what I had. Now between you and Franz, y'all have created a new itch or two.

Dietz was an hour drive for me, I wish the bullet hole didnt get so busy. That place is about 20 minutes from me.

Checkout Blackhawk shooting range. I prefer it over bullet hole.

I'm about 20 minutes from the bullethole as well.

Looks like a nice range. Where's that at? My folks live in Pipe creek next to Bandera. Bandera gun range is pretty nice.

Got to decide what your purposes are. Having both a 22 rifle and some sort of carbine is recommended.
