Hmmm .. trying to hide not paying in another language still means not paying. Well it will all be there and if someone else wants it then maybe it wont go home with me. Think I might do that with a few other items as well.

You could always tow something behind the RC car.

ETA: Well crap, now I'm confused (again).
I thought the tow idea was in the Target thread.
Gonna post it over there too.

I always wanted to get one of the airsoft HMMWVs with the gun on top, mobile RC target that shoots back. Too bad it's 50 bucks and probably a 1 time use target.

Just got it, add little plastic wagon to the back and use glocksters idea, just not sure if I wanna be within' airsoft/remote range when the tannernight goes off.

Stand, sit, prone. They even laid out some carpet, yes WHITE carpet on the pistol range
It's only been there about 2 weeks so it's still in great condition

I'm gonna find out what it feels like to shoot while standing, rapid fire, and bumpfire finally. Assuming they allow the latter two. Waste of ammo, I know, but still hah.

Additions since original post in red

I went to Hicksville Gun Range this afternoon to get an idea of layout, shade, setup etc.
I left 2 or 3 hours later. Lost track swapping stories with JD, his wife Judy and daughter Anamelia. Man, them people can talk ... Lol

Here's the one negative out of the recon run: the 200 - 600yd range is @ 1/2 mile away from the main area which includes the office/RRs, pistol, tactical bays, 100yd, and skeet (single thrower) areas. I didn't go to the long range area and have no idea of the layout but I will go if requested. JD put up some new pics on their site this week, take a look.

    Noted items of interest:
Rapid fire as long as shots remain on the berm
    Bump fire ok
There are a bunch of steel targets on the pistol range
Incendiary rounds will be TEST fired if you bring them. They may not allow continued use at their descretion
    No armor piercing ammo
Two split-the-bullet-pop-2-ballon stands should be available - ya know, to show everyone you are NOT the trick shooter you dream of being
To qualify for 600yd, you must put 3 shots on target @ 100yd that can be covered with a "Dr.Pepper" can. Not sure if you pass with a Coke can
600yd range has AR500 (?) steel in front of berm, I'm unsure of other long range setups

    Other items:
We get to use THE tree for shade (I hope to get there early to claim it)
I have the elec. cords + squirrel cage fan with me. Also 2 3-way plugs if someone wants to bring another fan
They will move tables around as needed
Do NOT trash the place with empty bottles, cans, food wrappers etc. (Their biggest complaint of customers)
They have more Tannerite when you run out

Bottom line as I see it, the place ain't big and they don't charge $7500 for memberships so it's not first class, but they are nice people that want you to enjoy yourself and allow more shooting flexibility than any standard gun range I've ever been to.

I apologize for the lighting. Literally minutes after these were taken a storm blew in with 50mph winds.

    The tactical bay area:

    Furthest from 'kill zone'

Because of the approaching storm, I didn't notice the barbed wire @ 2' above ground until the last second. Nearly had a dirt snack
(No short jokes, I kneeled down for the picture)

I look forward to meeting those I haven't, and seeing you other nut jobs again.
Now, I gotz to go fix at least one gun a'fer Elbe kills me.
