It appears it's now simply called the San Antonio Gun Show, but it's back!!
This is the one by Premier Gun Shows, LLC (Tim and Michelle Finucane) out of Ft Worth, who have hosted two excellent shows at the Exposition Hall behind Freeman Coliseum (3201 East Houston St).
Hours are Saturday 9am – 6pm and Sunday 10am – 5pm. General Admission is $8, cash only (get a dollar off coupon here); and parking is $5 (that's the city, and has nothing to do with the show promoters).
As some of you know, this is my favorite show in SA! The last time it was held the promoters came out to our pre-show breakfast and talked in depth to us about what we liked and didn't like about their previous show. They were also kind enough not only paid for our meals, but also gave us passes to the show! It was a very enjoyable event and we were happy to hear they plan to do six shows in San Antonio in 2012 (March 24 & 25, May 19 & 20, July 21 & 22, September 15 & 16, October 13 & 14, and December 8 & 9)
So, per tradition I would like to know if anyone is interested in breakfast beforehand. I am not sure where we could meet (I know one place we won't be going to, and that's El Jacalito! They were rude to Skip, the food was pretty bad plus they got my order wrong!) but I am open to suggestions. We had a good turnout at the last show, hopefully it will be the same this time.
Also, please help spread the word. The nice folks at Premier Gun Shows are really working hard to host a show that both vendors and visitors both enjoy. We have to continue supporting it and them as it is to everyone's benefit that all goes well! So far it has been a big win-win for all involved, let's make sure it stays that way!
Cheers! M2
