    Good morning friends!
Planning on installing a mag tube extension on the “new to me” Remington 870 Express Super Magnum that I got from GB last week.

Watch out, I understand the Express models (like mine) have detents inside the mag tube that'll prevent shells from working with the extension. You may need to do a little filing inside the tube to make it work. I've been considering a +3 extension for mine for years.

I'd choose thin. Being forced to eat the Mexican equivalent of a bologna sandwich every day is my version of Hell.....

Anyone know what round I need for hitting the broad side of the barn at 100 yards??? I've read all of the AR threads and can't figure it out...

My 10.5" compensated 5.56 is enough to rattle the walls, I couldn't imagine the racket and poor ballistic performance that would come from a 5.56 that short. Snagged a 4.5" dedicated .22lr upper off of this forum last week. Tore it down and scrubbed it clean, wiped it down with acetone then masked everything off and hit it with Rust-Oleum Camo Earth Brown to match the lower I built a few weeks ago. Suppressor should tuck nicely under the 7" handguard and make for a compact little plinker.
