I hope it is painful for them. Their CEO doubled down in an article that I read yesterday and now can't find. I haven't been in a Target in 20 years but my wife has. She will not be back. All of this DEI crap that is being pushed by corporations and the big funds is nuts. I can't figure out what is behind it but you can be sure there is something that we are not being told.

My wife stopped going to Target when they stopped letting the Salvation Army bell ringers look for donations outside their store. We stopped donating to the Salvation Army when they went into woke mode a couple years back.

On a fundamental level, it's a combination of limousine liberal/white guilt (most of these ceo's are lib/marxists) along with their corporations being rated for some ambiguous bs called diversity, equity (no one can define wtf that is...) and inclusion...dei.

Why are they being rated for this nonsense?

I've read a number of reasons.

One being, if corporations have a high 'dei' rating their credit score goes up...I'm guessing that means they can borrow more and easier when they need to...

If it doesn't measure up...they're sunk.

But why is this suddenly so very important to corporations in general...because the 'wef' is behind it pushing, pushing, pushing for it.

If the 'wef' deems you 'not worthy', (low dei rating) they will fk you over...and ceo's are deathly afraid of the 'wef' globalist/marxists'

The 'wef' has garnered much fear of their power, they striving to (and might) rule the entire world one day...

I may have some of the details wrong but, I think overall this is what's going on.

On a side note: I will never give in to their idea of global marxism.

That must have been what happened to the article that I spoke about earlier where the CEO doubled down. He also was talking about how his employees had endured violence. The other thing that he said that pissed me off was he was concerned about how this so called incident affected the psychological health of his employees all the while justifying the promotion and normalization of mental illness with this woke LBGOQXYZ+ (or whatever the phuck it is now) campaign.
