Not so fast. it is under appeal, its not even half way to the finish line. It is alive and well in the Federal Appellate Court. The City is not going to pay any judgment until all appeals are exhausted. At least it will be in Federal, and not State Court. The plaintiff will get a fair shake.

Ahhhh, back to the grind. And the heat, and the hammer and the bending...

Gonna be a pretty good day.

Well that didn't go as planned. I managed to get the coat hooks finished...after spending fifteen minutes searching for a lost screw (I include hot blued screws to go with the hooks)...then I lost a hook when the wire wheel yanked it out of my hands and flung it off into the ether while I was cleaning it up after forging (found it in the grass six feet outisde the rollup door on the workshop)...then I burned the absolute shit out of two fingers while putting the finish on one of the hooks.

So I didn't get to the grinding on Hoji's cleaver. I'll do that later in the week.

Don't get me wrong, a day in the forge is still a good day. I just prefer them not to include burn blisters. Gonna be rockin' some bandaids for a few days.
