Completely infuriating. They are completely incompetent. I went back and looked my submissions for my last can and this one are identical except for date, model #, and control #

How did they lose an electronic form submitted electronically, then ask you to re-submit another form with the old form attached as proof you already submitted it? And why is it taking 10+ months for approvals? My first .22 can took about 10 months through the old paper system. I'm only on month 5 but at this rate I should just assume it'll take 10-12 months.

Probably just internet rumors but I was suggested to call ATF and "check the status" of my paper form once a month hoping the agent would process it after hanging up with me. I assume the agents have no button that says "approve" if I called to ask about the status. I really wouldn't mind seeing a 15-20 minute documentary outlining why it takes so long to approve a computerized document. If there was a reason I'd love to know, I wouldn't even mind knowing they don't care but the nebulous "just wait almost a year" drives me nuts!

This is an acknowledged problem on ATF's side.
did you get this in the "reasons for disapproval" box?

Yes, I contacted silencershop and so far they've not responded.

Efiled Form 1 SBR on 10/25 (Fingerprints received 11/01/22. Stamp received 12/01/22

Form 4 Suppressor filed 11/18/22 still pending.

Soo I received a denial for form 4 today. Says my fingerprints were not received. Called shop that submitted them, I suppose I will call ATF tomorrow.

So gun store logged in to their eform and fingerprints were there (definitely received and uploaded). No response from ask the expert.
