I see in this thread those claim to have been Soldiers "with" the 1 Special Forces Group... yet support the Proud Boys/Oath keepers/Neo-Nazis in that attack on our Congress. The term "with" does not make them SF-qualified. If that sort of trash was ever in the 1SFG, I never crossed their path - but then again I was not a Special Forces Officer, and would never pretend to have served in that capacity. But ironically, the treasonous former President they are supporting (AKA Cadet Bone Spur) is the same person who described Senator John McCain as a "loser" for being a POW. He also told Gen. Kelly he thought our war dead were "losers" for dying for their Country. They are now somehow ignoring the mountain of evidence presented to prove Trump's guilt as he ignored our Constitution, his oath of office, and the sanctity of our Capital in an attempt to block a legal vote. His ridiculous claims in the "Big Lie" was proven false by 61 Federal Judges. Only a fool would believe that Big Lie.I served 6 years. Oir family has a lot of military members. Seeing what the military is now, I wouldn't join. I'm telling my son's not to join as well.

You're nothing but a mindless Trump cult member creating your own reality. The thugs who attacked the Capital are fortunate the Capital Police were not replaced with Soldiers given the mission of protecting our Congress. Those nose-picking cretins with the body armor, pepper spray, zip-ties, and weapons (Trump was shown to have known about), would have been treated like the neo-Nazi traitors they are... and you are for supporting them. Some have already plead guilty to seditious conspiracy and have years to face in prison. One bomber is still on the loose. The DOJ has a mountain of evidence Trump must account for before the Justice System. He also had hundreds of classified documents illegally in his possession. No doubt you have no idea what a TS/SCI clearance entails, but Trump should go to prison for that act alone. Your acceptance of my military couldn't be less relevant. Go on back to "Q" and finish your education.
The answer can be quite complex. If we ignore the Constitution and attack our Congress in an attempt to block a legal vote, that is something deserving of prosecution at many levels. If one purpose of our Military is to preserve our Democratic Republic, that preservation appears in question if our Department of Justice doesn't indict and prosecute anybody, including a former President, for violating his oath and inciting a violent attack on our Congress to prevent validation of the vote. Trump, who was the Commander-In-Chief of our Armed Forces, made no effort to stop that attack and the violence so obvious to him as he watched it on television, he is certainly in violation of his Oath of Office. I treasured my decades of service in the U.S. Military, but do not feel any pride over our CINC behaving like a cheap, third-world criminal. At the personal-level... the service had worth and meaning... but I feel somewhat betrayed by the failures of those who supported the traitorous act of sedition - namely Donald Trump. He needs to stand before our system of justice and tell his side of the story. If they have to ask, then they likely won't understand the answer.
Welcome…to the ignore list. Dumbass. When I see the President of the United States directing an insurrection on our Nation's Capital, and we allow two years to pass without bringing him to justice, I must question the value of my 34 years of service in the United States Army. That isn't right.
Seditious conspiracy is not something beneficial to the American people. He is guilty of the four charges brought against him by the House Investigation. He is also guilty of seriously mishandling highly classified materials, something those of us who worked in that arena would have been immediately arrested and prosecuted for doing. His policies were marked by more failures than success. He had no position for healthcare, campaign finance reform, climate change, wages, Social Security, Medicare, and absolutely nothing but idiocy related to the Covid pandemic. His treatment of legal immigrants along the border was inhumane and cruel. His behavior towards N.A.T.O. weakened the national security of a good portion of the world. His complete lack of honorable behavior embarrassed the U.S. in the eyes of the entire world. It is now time for him to stand up before the courts and defend himself - that is his right and duty. While Mr. McCain was a POW, he was a piss poor representative of the citizens of the USA. The judges proved nothing. What I find amusing, is your thought he ignored our Constitution or his oath. He is the only President in a long time who at least carried out policies beneficial to the American People.
Being a soldier does not give one special insight, for any of us knows, you spent your entire time on KP duty.
I am so hurt to be ignored by somebody like you...Welcome…to the ignore list. Dumbass.
You know so very little about our Military. Do you have any idea of how a person might be allowed to remain in the Armed Forces for more that 30 years... as an Officer? Think... then speak. While Mr. McCain was a POW, he was a piss poor representative of the citizens of the USA. The judges proved nothing. Guard or reserve? You’re not the only retired military officer around here.
I’ll consider allowing your reply once I’ve tired of critiquing your form in the front leaning rest.
McCain was a loser. Just because he was a POW doesn’t mean he wasn’t a turd. What do you think the others at the Hanoi Hilton have to say about him? Want to talk about how many deferments your boy Biden has?I see in this thread those claim to have been Soldiers "with" the 1 Special Forces Group... yet support the Proud Boys/Oath keepers/Neo-Nazis in that attack on our Congress. This sock puppet probably doesn't even know what an MOS is. Everything he knows about the military he learned from watching M*A*S*H reruns.
It is democracy... and your fool lost. Delusion is even worse than denial. Still, I believe those who expected me to leave this forum could be exactly correct. I could better spend my time teaching calculus to a pig. I honestly expected those in a right-wing forum to be heavily brainwashed by decades of Fox News and radical social medial sites. But I never expected them to be completely incapable of forming an argument beyond silly Jr. High-level comments. Especially when their twice impeached, soundly defeated (in a very legal election), amoral, traitorous, cowardly, draft-dodging, strangely ignorant, pathological liar, cult leader is now being investigated at the State and Federal level. I'm directly challenging you to defend his tenure as our Commander-In-Chief. If you can say something intelligent... now it the time. The only insurrection was at the polls where supposedly 80 million votes were cast for a vegetable.
You would not know honorable if it bit you on the Ass. The government has no business in our healthcare, climate change is bull shit, there are no issues with legal immigration, the issue is illegal aliens, and wages should be BASED upon your ability, not what the government says they should be. As for NATO, what a farce that organization is, useless POS.Seditious conspiracy is not something beneficial to the American people.
