Didn’t see a thread for the West meetup. So here it is.

I’ll be bringing a smoked pork butt. I’ll have it broke down into pulled pork when it arrives.

If someone can bring buns and cole slaw for the sandwiches that’d be great.

I’ll also bring a couple folding tables, some folding chairs, a cooler w water and an EZ up.

I'm sorry, but I'm not cooking. I'll see what the store has to offer before I head out. If nothing else I'll supplement what others have brought. At this time I don't see a whole lot.

I know everyone want's to the best host on these deals, but really the food has to add to the host stress levels. When I seen Dustin was going to do a brisket I thought to my self poor dude is going to be beat after smoking a brisket. Then there is everything that goes with it from paper plates to plastic for & added trash to drag out or burn.

I'm all for KISS Keeping it simple stupid. Hydration is a must & just the amount of trash the plastic adds is more work for very gracious host.

All the prepping and cooking do add another level of stress in hostin succh an event, but for me, it's a labor of love kind of deal. If wveryone is enjoying the food I prpared, then it's worth it to me. ai just want my guests to have a great time.
