Night shift reporting in

I met up with my neighbor Friday night & again this evening to help put a dent in the hogs around the area.

Friday night we snuck in on this guy. A double shot with the 350 legends & he dropped. I'm gunna guess & say 200-225 boar with decent cutters.

(Size 15 shoe for reference)

He disked & planted some oats on Sunday for a food plot. It only took 2 days for a pig to come in. This guy showed up this evening about 945. I'm gunna say 250-275, definitely bigger than Friday night. We met up with him about 1030. We doubled up with the 350s again & he dropped on the spot, kicked his back leg a couple of times & that was it for him. There was also 2 corn bandits at the protein feeder that took off after the first shots were fired. My buddy shot twice & missed the first one as he was running. I got lucky & hit him in the back, just in front of the back legs. He ended up choking blood so we put another round in him. His other buddy headed for the trees & my buddy shot that one out of the tree. Pretty good night & most of the food plot was saved. I'm sure his cell camera will be going back off in a couple of nights & I'll report back in.

Bravo brochacho. Your mountain lion been around? They pretty much run a pattren across their range. Yall fucking around at night might want to think about that cat. Then again you might never see it again its in your area.

I haven't seen the cat on cam... only mama swears she seen it.

We both have pistols if the cat gets too close. One of us will be bait I guess....lol.

Headed out with my neighbor last night to a big ranch down the road from the house that he has access to.

Only one little boar that looked ragged as hell & boney hips. Had body of a 180lb or so boar. He was only about a 100lbs. We got him the first hill we came over. Rode around another 3hrs & nothing. Then when we were about to leave we hit the same area again....it was close to where we unloaded & seen a little coyote pup. Dropped him & then headed home.

About $6400.... it is 640 resolution though, so its pretty clear. I was running it with a Vortex Strike Eagle 1x6 & just ran it on 3 power all night.
