Dude, that’s a serious crime to be getting away with. Contact dps.

You can also talk with one of your constables.

No one is untouchable. I know this. It took me being one squeaky wheel to get the son of our neighbor on the radar.

When someone doesn’t feel like working, you keep seeking, and eventually the right people will look at what’s going on.

Yes we got plates however apd won’t do shit. Guys a idiot, I’m sure that plate glass cut his leg pretty good also.
That would require actual police work. Far too much effort for APD. Easier to wait for gun control laws to get passed then go after legal gun owners than to actually go after a gun thief who probably already has a record. I mean, seriously, a likely felon in posession, discharging a firearm within city limits while attempting to commit a felony? Why would APD soil their hands with that?

They won’t even make a report?
They came out and did a report and that’s it. Honestly they act like it’s normal and don’t care.

It really is sad, we have fortified this business because the shooting part is new but it’s not the first time the windows have been busted. Same thing every time, do a report and nothing ever comes of it.

Really sad when this has become our normal. He’s my friend so I’m there every time to board it up for him. We’ve learned to keep the wood and wait so he saves a little money every time.

Criminals are not smart, they tend to think business just have gold or cash laying around in the open. You would think they would learn after 12 attempts and never even being able to get in but no.

I will tell him of your dps suggestion though, maybe they can help. Thank you for that.

Update… detective reached out and said if they catch the guy it’s only a misdemeanor discharge of a firearm. Unbelievable we pay for this lack of service. He didn’t give a phuck.
Remind him it's also justification for use of deadly force.
