Stolen, but it is Beer Keg Day ... somewhere:

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you would have $49.00 today.
If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you would have $33.00 today.
If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, you would have $0.00 today.
But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for recycling refund, you would have received a $214.00.
Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle. It is called the 401-Keg.
A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means that, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon!
Makes you damned proud to be an American.

    Oh yeah ... Morning

    Memory lane . . . .

Sunday, church day (or used to be) and I'm thinking about Susie G. Met her when we were @14 after her family moved to Houston, from Indiana or maybe Wisconsin so she had an adorable accent too. Voluminous curly blonde hair, great smile & eyes and that bod . . . ooh la la!

    Good choice.
Have a dozen or so nailers ... Bostitch, my favorite by far.
When I sold my cabinet shop, their little 6 gal pancake compressor is the only one I kept.
Well, it worked like a champ! First thing after putting the fittings on the hose, I started it up. I was watching the gage and it wasn't filling the tank. DUH, took me a minute or two before I realized I forgot to check the petcock on the tank. Girlfriend asked me to check the tires on her car, so that was the first job I completed, then got out the nailer. All done and put away. It's nice having the right tools for the job.

I did research and also asked a friend that does roofing, he said he liked his Bostitch over his DeWalt.
