Popeyes and homemade from my G-ma…recipe back from her family rooted in Virginia. We had KFC but, that’s not chicken is it?
KFC was pretty good about thirty or forty years ago. It's nothing like it use to be. Popeye's or Raising Cane's are my top choices for fast food fried chicken.

But nothing truly compares to Granny's fried chicken. Just something about a fresh chicken, lard and a cast iron skillet

    Out here by the lake!
Popeyes is probably the best fried chicken chain out there.
When it comes to fried chicken chain s don't necessarily mean shit it the employee's & mananagment of the location that means everything. I really hate walking into a place with a chick with neck tats, frito fingernails and an attitude.

The oil in the fryer & how often its changed means everything to any fried foods.

    This I gotta agree with.

If I walk into a place, and the employees are loud mouth, seem unfocused, I already know the food and service are going to be poor. Too many examples in real life.
