The Woodlands looks great, love all the mature trees, stuff to do, every business you'd ever need, etc. But we ended up buying in the area across 45 because it isn't as busy.

Previously we were in Bridgeland for 10 years, which was billed as the "new Woodlands" (same developer) of the NW part of Houston. Started out great, we built about 4 years after they broke ground and it was a nice tight knit community. Then the "oooh" factor was pushed, and all the immigrants (yes, LOTS of them were from California) came in and unfortunately ruined it. It's a beautiful development, but it turned from being very open and friendly to inconsiderate and rude over the 10 years we lived there. Then the crime, the vandalism, the gates and barriers, etc. And the complaining, the Facebook neighborhood groups were an absolute mess with people bitching about each and every thing. "Who is going to do something about this trash (that I'm taking pictures of, but won't lift a finger to pick up and put in the trash can 10 feet from me)????!??!?" Or "Who is going to stop these people using our amenities?" and the ever fun "Poop in the pool? Again? When are they going to open it!??!?!" Loved all the Karens taking pictures of peoples' driving too, complaining because they were trying to block them on the 45mph main road because they were driving 50, and the car got around them. "Think of the children!!!!" Surprised I never got my turn to be famous ;)

In this Cali home we own >10 guns, and reload 9mm, .38 SPL,, .357 Mag, and 5.56/.223, and everybody in this house owns an unregistered AR-15. While I was out there most Texans I spoke with about firearms own less than we do...
So I might be more pro-firearm than most TRYING to troll...

I think I might be more of a firearm enthusiast than those TRYING to slam me

So a Californian coming into a Texas gun forum telling the membership he is better than those who don't buy into his bullshit posts. Who tries to take a superior stance, that of being a better driver, and being more pro-gun than us thick headed Texans, who apparently do not own as many guns ...

Give me a f****** break. STAY IN CALIFORNIA.

That location plus previous iterations along with this thread's title seems proof to me OP is but a troll.
Of course all the replies in here haven't helped much. :(

He edited the location after reading some of the replies to this thread he started. Then pretty much full on trolling in just about every reply afterwards.

I suspect he may not be lasting very long here on the forum.

As a very new member here, I came to Texas because I thought it best suited my views.
Ive been searching property for the last three years. I recently bought a small place out in the country and I just love it. The people are amazing.
Ive been here about 3 months in my new house on a dead end road. I know most of my neighbors, I can fish in there ponds, shoot on their land, and they call me when trees land on their houses, bulls get out, or they just want to shoot guns or drink beer.

God blessed Texas, and **** anybody that doesn’t get this!
