I just came in from the front porch watching fireworks until my beer was gone. Kind of wish I hadn’t sold all the 40 mm illumination rounds I had!

He left the coop open one night, a few weeks back, and the coons had an all night party in there. It traumatized the hens and the rooster. They refused to go back in the next night.

Well, the neighbors shut down their fireworks about half an hour ago, but since I got the brisket, pork loin and ribs on the smoker, I'm fixing to indulge in a cold Shiner Bock!

I even got a lot of the grass mowed again today.

It is just before 4AM and the gunfire continues. Being able to sleep through this is impossible. Magnified only by the holiday opportunity! Lou id cars screaming and yelling is a common thing here.... just magnified by the mood!
