    Yesterday evening I read the on-line Statesman article and they were frantically working the "gun violence" screed...
    This morning, now that a suspect is in custody and another is known, they've toned it back, considerably. Probably trying to figure out how to spin it to suit their narrative.
    Weasels.

    The Travis County DA, Mr. Garza, has dropped all charge against both these guys, despite them seemingly being actively involves in a running gun battle. I *think* the 3rd suspect is believed to have fired the shot that killed the one person who died so they figured they could let the rest off.

    So they were involved to some degree, and the DA drops the charges and turns them loose?
