    Middle of no where
I've been throwing corn since last October. In January I added 2 gravity feeders with protein. It's been mostly does coming in since I've had the corn feeder up at the new place, with the occasional buck. Then the shed happened & you couldn't tell does from bucks. I haven't seen too many bucks coming in, since they started growing horns. Last week it all changed for the better. They slowly multiplied over the last month or so. Now the most bucks I've seen at once is 8... but 6 has been the norm.

    Thank ya sir.
Most people around here don't feed all year, they start throwing corn in September. Then wonder why they don't see too many nice bucks. I've got a couple young bucks they are gunna be good shooters in a couple years...if the neighbors don't shoot em before then. There's a couple I'll be keeping an eye out for this season. Can't wait to see what they look like when their velvet comes off.

Wondering if your going to be dealing with the deer running dogs idiots at your place?

If i see fido's chasing deer they will be disposed of immediately. Where I'm at it's mostly ranches around me... not too many people have the option to run dogs. Not to mention it's so thick, your not easily able to travel through the woods.

I have actually seen people dropping off a pack of dogs to drive the deer off of places they didn’t dare get caught on.

I wanted to shoot our little schnoodle last night when she went after deer by the feeder. The wife told me I'd be sleeping on the couch so she got a free pass.

I filled up both gravity feeders on Friday morning with 50lbs of protein, yesterday after noon it was all gone. Not even 72 hours. It used to last 7-10 days when mainly does were coming in.

Ive shot more strays on my property than deer or hogs. F*cking methheads leave their damn dogs behind when they go to jail and the beasts turn feral and chase off all the game.

We had a pack of starving ones come through recently and they were about to tear down my garbage can. 180gr 308 right to the head fixed that. I got the other two with a 20 gauge shotgun the next day. This is why I love south Texas, no damn dogs ruining the hunting

    Out here by the lake!
Strays gone feral are way worse then dogs trained to drive deer! We use to go out to the landfill in my late teens to kill feral dogs. Packed up they make for some exciting hunting.

We never went after them with less then 3 people. My H&k 91 may have more kills then any other gun I own. Carrying a side arm was mandatory. A shotgun was also a welcome addition.

While feral lawn lions can be very rewarding to hunt, I have never seen them pack up like dogs. Those landfill dogs were a renewable resource. Killing puppies when found as bad as it sounds was mandatory.

Weekly people would dump dogs. New dogs acted completely different then those that entered into a pack. They were the one’s hardest to kill, because they were just hoping to go home!

I havent had to kill any puppies yet. We have adopted out all of the puppies we have come across but its just not sustainable. Sometimes it takes 9 months to a year just to get someone who wants a puppy. We decided it would be a mercy to just put them out of their misery. We cant handle anymore dogs as it is.

Any full grown dog on my hunting property or near the house though qualifies for the kill on sight policy. I am not spending all of my free time and money managing a property to have it busted by some meth dogs. I also have children now and when they are old enough to be outside playing, I dont want any shitmutts trying anything. I have my GSDs to make sure that doesnt happen though

I had a big bastard + a puppy come through the past couple of days. I had my trash can out and he was over there sniffing it but then he lost interest and ran away. I was just at my side door with my ear pro on and 12 ga slug gun ready to go if he was going to try anything. Woke up this morning and the can was undisturbed so he gets a pass for now. Second I see him on a trail cam or when my dog obsessed MIL isnt here, he is toast.
