Has anybody on this forum sold any guns to them? How did it go? I’ve only bought guns and never sold any, so I’m now at the point culling out some of the guns I don’t use much, and the guns.com quote/buy system seems to be fairly streamlined and hassle free. Anyone get burned by them? I don’t necessarily want to spend a day hawking to LGS or pawn shops.

Nothing really collectible or highly sought after. Right now I have an offer from them for a Rossi mod 35103, 38 spec.. I’ll prob end up putting my .22 savage take down, trio of Ruger 9mm p85, p89, p95. Possibly my 9mm shield and Mossberg Persuader but I haven’t made up my mind on those. I was going to see how the Rossi worked out first

I still might but I need to read up and make sure I’m covered. Like I said I’ve never sold one before and want to be sure nothing comes back on me. Maybe I’m over thinking it

Whatever you do, make up your own mind on a Bill of Sale. DO NOT ASK US ABOUT THEM.
Here in Good ole Texas selling a gun is not going to come back on you. As long as you don't know you are selling to a badguy that can't buy one at the store. And its not your job to find out. Guns are much like any private property. Sell them here. I have sold a gun at a show that Houston offered back to me after the court cases ended. I'd sold it so I said no. And had Police at the door cause I sold a truck that was used in a robbery. You never know about your fellow man. Better chances among gun enthusiasts.

Not only have I never been burned by them, I am not sure I ever heard of them, or at least did not know they purchase guns, until you asked about them here.

What I have done is: I just submitted the description of a gun to them for which I know the sale value as in a sale being made to a dealer (which likely will be considerably less than if I was making a sale to someone on these forums, at a gun show or on GunBroker). They say they will get back to me within a business day, so I am thinking that means on Monday. Will let you know what I think of their offer.

I don't blame them. If you messaged them by yelling in ALL CAPS you probably have anger management issues.
Just as a side note: How all writing in all capital letters ever became a pisspant whining spolied brat's idea of yelling at someone, and then more unbelievably became the Internet standard meaning for writing in all caps, simply boggles the mind.:roflsmile:It seems much akin to it becoming standard usage of the plural pronoun 'they' in place of the singular pronouns he or she because some jerkoff wussy wants to have his wiener lopped off instead of living life with what he was endowed from well before birth or some he-woman, also unable to cope with what was given her well before birth, wants to become tougher than nails he-man carpet muncher. The world is truly becoming an idiocracy! Beam me up Scotty - please beam me up! :abduction:

They actually got back to me same day. Request submitted first thing in the morning and quote received later in the afternoon

There is no commission. They buy it out right from me and resell it. In my case they offered $245 so their commission would be whatever amt they sell it for over the $245 they paid for it
