    ZX9RCAM,

While I appreciate brevity at times, your posts are frequently so brief as to be INCOMPREHENSIBLE to readers.

We watched that when it came out on the History Channel. An excellent mini-series.

I agree that it was entertaining. But there were a lot of historical facts misrepresented for the sake of artistic cinema. Please don't believe this was EXACTLY how it happened. For instance, Sam Houston was not there when Deaf Smith died.

I agree. A lot of movies or mini-series are not always historically accurate, but they are movies, or mini-series and not documentaries. If I watch a documentary, I expect as much accuracy as is possible or that is known though.

    Haystack,

Imvho, what really happened during our little revolution is more interesting than anything that HOLLYWIERD can dream-up.

To quote Mark Twain, "There are many things that if written as fiction, that would expose the author to public ridicule but nothing is so bizarre that it could not have actually happened."

Probably gonna need a couple of Alamos first.

    Vaquero,

OR another GOLIAD. = The Alamo's falling made Texicans SAD. = GOLIAD made them crave REVENGE & they took it out on the enemy army at San Jacinto, 185 years ago today.

Sorry, but guess I didn’t look hard enough before posting mine. The dementia seems to be creepin’ up on me faster as my 77th gets closer.

    Armybrat,

Per chance, are you over 65YO?? = IF you are you "get a pass" as an EOF.

    LOL, satx

Well, if you reread his post, he says his 77th is getting closer.
Maybe it was a long enough post.
