Last night I ran about 400x 45gap and loaded a few dozen 7.62x54. also prepped some 7.7x58 brass I've been looking at for a couple weeks now. Just need to get bullets for this one.

What did you load the GAP with? I like that platform, too bad it won't have any traction.

I used a lee pro1000 to load them using 45acp dies. I had already sized, primed and flared them separately. On the pro1000 I had it setup to drop powder, seat, then crimp. I know you hate Lee factory crimp dies but I used one for a little crimp.

I pulled this one out of my butt one day. I left a little room on either side of the bench to put things. Been really happy with it so far.

Mounted 2x6 on wall first, then built it around that. Frame is 2x6, top is 3/4 fine grain plywood.
Shelves are 1x6 glued and screwed.

Edit - there’s a bunch more stuff on it now. It’s turned into a junk collection point.

    Did this the other day...

Somehow my bench primer didn't pickup a primer so I tried to prime a piece of brass with the empty priming arm. It got jammed in the case and I couldn't get the case off of the shell holder.

In a fit of desperation, I whacked it with a hammer until I came to my senses.

Not my brightest moment. I never imagined I'd ever need a hacksaw for reloading.

On the plus side, I really like my new vise blocks from Plastix Revolution!

    Need another friend?

Bad part is, I thought it was a full brick. Well, it wasn’t, and as I was driving, it must have rolled around a little, so when I got to the place we were meeting, I picked up the brick and heard a rattle that didn’t sound right. I carefully opened the case, and primers came spilling out all over me and the floorboard of my car! One tray had opened up! I felt like I had dropped my child! I was scrambling to find all of them and pick them up! Still missing about 15 out of that tray. Probably under my seat. Hope they aren’t too combustible in this Texas summer heat!

I scoured the internet for Trail Boss powder but was unlucky.
    Bought 1000 .224 55gr FMJ bullets.
Now that my 300 blackout brass is cleaned, need to work up some loads.

Is Trailboss a good sub powder for 300?

I use H110 for my supers.
