I watched one feral dog run over 200m across a field after a solid chest hit at 10m with a 380 jhp and he never did slow down. He disappeared into a woodeline I shot a chuck with a .380 jhp at 10ft, he flipped over, so I shot him down thru the face, hit him below one eye, he got up again and I stepped aside and shot him in the temple. copper jp's in 9mm cannot be trusted to expand at less than 1200 fps and when they will be clogged by first piercing clothing, 1300 fps is better. 1000-1100 fps is the threshold for .45 jhp's, too. Only the very lightest, fastest bullets in any given caliber can be expected to expand in flesh, and often not even then, if fired from 3" or shorter barrels.

Have you tried using the sights? Just hitting a critter with a bullet, even a big one won't kill them quickly unless you hit something important. Or had you forgotten...

I'd swear it's Gun Kid, aka: Melvin aka: a lot of other names. He frequents guns sites and is the all knowing guru of the gun, silencers (or cans as he calls them because he is super coolo), has been in jail numerous times (or so he claims) has a writing style that is precisely like the one this forum member users, and just makes things miserable in any forum he joins. Of course, it could be a wanna-be Gun Kid type following in his footsteps. Since he has not denied yet that he is Gun Kid, it makes me even more certain it is him. Of course, for all anyone knows, Gun Kid could be a transvestite or a butch lesbian or even a eunuch instead of real man (ETA: or maybe even an ATF agent) but one thing is for sure - he knows little to nothing about guns that he has not looked up on the Internet or years ago in a library or gun magazine.

One of the more memorable forum trolls was a guy that went by the username of Shoobee. That character was missing a few of his fries from his Happy Meal! At one time, he held the record number of forums he had been banned from. It was at about 14 or 15 of them.
