WOW! The most expensive burger at the Stockman's Cafe is $11.50. That is a double meat burger with cheddar cheese, slices of bacon, onion rings, and BBQ sauce, served with a plate full of fries. I saw one man once order that thing, and it looked to stand almost 6" tall! He looked at it for five minutes trying to figure out how to eat the burger!
Real easy, you smash it down with you palm I pick it up! The trick is you can't set it down.

We originally were headed to Goode Company Armadillo Palace. I wouldn't hesitate in spending what their burgers used to be. Unfortunately they seem to has gone to a nightly honky tonk venue.

Well, it may be in the time during the filming of an episode and when it actually airs on TV could be the thing. Plus, with all this CV19 nonsense, many smaller family owned restaurants have felt the results and closed down.

Right, but if the place closed last year, they had plenty of time to find out it had closed. This was a bunch of short clips from old shows put together to make a new show.

There is a little cafe in Canyon City by Canyon Lake that makes a gigantic BLT.
    Casa del Lago.
It’s one pound of wonderful bacon.
    Nom nom nom.
Be careful with it. It can hurt you. LoL
I tried to search Google maps to put it on my list. Didn't show up. Internet search said it closed. Do you know if it's still open? Love me some bacon

If anyone finds themselves in the 9000 block of Cameron road in Austin Buddy's burger is worth a try. Smashed griddle style burger and skinny fries. Double cheese burger will set you back $5 and some change.

I love me a BLT. The best I’ve lately are at Kenny’s Burgers in Plano, and Judy’s Cafe in Garland. Both are outstanding.

Sadly, we just don't have any smaller family owned burger joints in Palestine anymore. Though one is suppose to be re-opening after many years by the former owner's grandchildren, from what I have heard.

Years ago, we had three great family owned drive-in burger joints and all of them were awesome. There was Chip's Restaurant, Ralph's Drive-in, and Heck's Drive-in. Heck's Drive-in is the one being re-opened supposedly.

So the New JLB Eatery opened last week near the house. I ordered their Crazy Burger. The picture does not do it props as it was huge! I managed to get 3/4 of the way thru before sharing with my son who had a puddle of drool on the floor. The wife had a Cajun Fried Shrimp Wrap said it was a PoBoy in a wrap. I was al ready to try it again on Sunday but they were closed.

The seismograph there is pretty cool. Was stationed in OK for six year and went to Meers a couple of times a year.

I usually got the BLT instead of a burger. Seemed like a pound of bacon, half a head of lettuce, and a sliced whole tomato.
Hey! This is starting to hurt. We went to Ft Sill to see the museums in the spring and took a side trip to Meers on the way home and they were closed on Tuesday.

I can remember when Dairy Queen had an awesome chicken fried steak sandwich. I loved those. They still have it, but it's not anything like it was years ago.

Anyone remember the old A&W Rootbeer drive-ins, that sold hamburgers and fries, with the root beer in the frozen mugs? OMG!
