While strolling through an LGS, I picked up some SMK 338 Lapua 250 grain projectiles today for $24.99 per 50 round box. There was no price tag on them so I took a box to the counter and asked how much. I then went back and got the other 3 boxes at that price. That’s less than I’ve found anywhere, even buying in bulk. I wish they were 300 grain but at that price I’m not complaining. Hopefully they get more in at the same price.

As opposed to the rush for everything already going on?
I think yes as opposed to the current one. Should he win, Joe Biden winning will bring this country and the Constitution to its knees short of an armed uprising IMO. If the demoncrats also take the senate, there will be a huge tax on ammo & firearms within a few months. They have already tried it was but not possible with Trump in office and with a rebooblican Senate. There will also be new gun control legislation to outlaw many of not all types of firearms and confiscations are not beyond imagining. In other words - things will change for the worse if Biden gets in and for the worst if he gets in and the demoncrats gain the Senate majority. My guess would be, if he wins, even before any of that could happen - ammo like 9mm will go for over 2K per case.

    VOTE TRUMP.

Yes, as opposed to that. Ammo is gone. Guns are hard to find locally sometimes, but still available online.

But, I haven't had any trouble finding mags and other accessories online. If things go bad in a couple weeks -prices will jump even higher, and what's currently left will be gone VERY quickly.

I have ammo and not buying any currently. I have been buying mags though when at a decent price, which hasn't been too hard.

I have been somewhat amazed at the avaiability of magazines both online and at gun shows, they are in abundance for now. My guess is there would be a lower supply of them if the folks buying guns & ammo, the ones new to guns, had any clue about actually using them. I think what has maybe happened is that Mr. New Gun Guy goes out and buys an AR and takes the mag or mags that came with it thinking that is enough and does so just out of ignorance. With all the additional guns being sold this year and all the ammo that is selling like there truly may not be a tomorrow, I would have thought mags woud be selling like hot cakes but it does not seem so even at some lowball prices that I have witnessed. Who knows though, I certainly am not a marketing expert, that's just my guess.

I have bought various Glock 19, 21, AK47, AR, 1911 mags for about the same as pre covid prices or less sometimes. I got 5 Glock 33 rounders for $20 each, for use with my AR 9mm build. 4 50 round drums too. Binary trigger demands high cap mags.
