But I'm about to pull the trigger on a 200K mile 04 Duramax LLY.
    2WD - extended cab - 8' box

I know the owner and recall when he bought it.
Never been tuned or hot rodded.
    100% bone stock.

The truck has lead a sheltered life ... Maybe 10K towing a 5th wheel, boat and race car.
Rest of the time has been a commuter truck.
Been mostly idle for the last 3 or 4 years.

Terms are great ... come get it, drive it for a few months and try and sell my current truck.

I didn’t think the Duramax really counted as a diesel...

It’s the oil changes that get you, unless Biden wins and fuel prices skyrocket again.

The pre DEF diesels are workable. That 04 LLY is a good one.
In 04 the catalytic converter was an option you could delete.

Had on 05 crewcab 4x4 2500 with the Duramax. Mileage was not bad until I put larger all terrain tires on it. Got married and had to trade it in on a minivan for the wife and kids.

That ain’t no lie. I just dropped $150 bucks on an oil change for my power joke.

I just paid $2,900 on a wire harness, glow plugs and oil cooler on my powerstroke. Oil changes are the cheapest thing on a diesel! 2 years ago I spent 7k on new heads and gaskets and head studs with a EGR delete.

I love my diesel. 03 Dodge 2500 4x4 quad cab. Just rolled 250,000 miles last week. Decided it’s time to get the valves adjusted. Oil change costs me $70 and I do the fuel filter myself, every other oil change. It is relegated to the sidelines for cross country trips to keep mileage off my daily drivers and for towing duties. Getting her ready for a trip to Vegas in a couple weeks.

Quit paying 6.0 hacks to work on your truck and it’s a lot cheaper. Bring it to me next time you need work done.
