    That place east of Waco....
Another nail in the coffin. GOA is already taking their place and seems to actually give a damn about our rights
Second Amendment Foundation is hauling the load for 2A right now as well.

If the NRA disappears, how big a difference will it make on the state-level fights?

Honestly, if NRA goes away, I think there would be more successes at the state and national level.

Sad that the NRA will not clean up its own act.

Not sure about the legality of what NY is trying to do though.

#1 - no court finding, so who can say what's true?

#2 - Funny how they're going after the organization, rather than any specific person(s). This is just a "throw everything at 'em, and see what sticks" type filing. Those of you saying "Who cares", best remember - they CAN do a LOT for all of us, even though right now they're in question.

The NRA is still the gun grabber's big boogie man. From a PR perspective, it would be a win for the anti-gun lobby and could give further momentum to the Brady Bunch and their other ilk.

Emboldening the enemy isn't a good thing IMO.

What is sad is that they were once, and still could be, a powerful voice for all of our rights but have chosen not to be. That they have gone from what they were and could be to a PR point.

Definitely agree but what else can we do to change the NRA? We tried to get our people on the board and that didnt work. Aside from WLP and most of the board dying spontaneously, there isn't much to be done. They have to reap what they have sown unfortunately.

I totally agree that WLP has overstayed his time with the NRA and needs to move on, or fall. Sad fact is if he falls, what effect will that have on the NRA as a whole? Better? Or worse?

I think the "not another cent till WLP is gone" answer to fundraising efforts is starting to get folks worried the coffers are starting to dry up........

As it should. When they start getting lower in funds, maybe someone will wake up and try and find out the reason. Maybe then things might change and the NRA gets back to doing the job they should be doing.

Symbolically, yes. But, on a practical level, the NRA hasn't been a threat for a long time. The NRA is just the easiest target to take down. When they start going after the state organizations, that's when it gets sporty....
