When you vote for a candidate who has zero chance of winning, you will be failing to keep the left wing out of control. You will in essence be abdicating to the Biden.

"All that is needed for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing." And by voting for a candidate who has zero chance of winning, you will be doing nothing.

I will vote for Trump. Not because I like him (I don't) and not because I condone his all of his behavior (I don't). But because the alternative is left wing control of government. And that would lead to great harm to America.

    Let me provide an analogy:
A bus carrying a large group of people is headed on a road traveling round a cliff. To one side is the cliff wall. To the other a steep precipice. All can see that the road is partially washed out ahead. You are not completely certain as to the remaining road width, but you are fairly certain the remaining road is not wide enough for the bus.

The bus driver had a heart attack when he saw the road wash out. He fell out of the driver's seat.

Three people yell out they can take over control of the bus.

Person #1 intends to go full speed ahead, likely meaning the bus will go over the precipice and do a great deal of damage to the passengers and bus. This fellow has poor morals which don't meet that of a Christian. He belongs to a group that is hostile to Christianity and has even poorer morals than he. All the people in the bus know this fellow.

Person #2 is a fellow you really don't like. His morals don't meet that of a Christian. However, his past actions as bus driver have supported Christianity. He recognizes the danger ahead and previously has demonstrated the ability to keep the bus from going off cliffs. All the people in the bus know this fellow as well.

Now there is a Person #3 who could drive the bus. You really do not know terribly much about him, but he seems to have better morals and you like him better than the other two. However, he is in the very back row of the bus. And with the panic in the bus there is absolutely no way he will ever make it to the driver's seat in time. Almost no one in the bus knows this fellow, maybe 1% of the passengers might vote for him if he is lucky. There is simply no way this guy will end up driving. And you really do not know if he is capable of driving the bus.

The passengers are taking a quick vote as to whom should be the driver. As a Christian, for whom do you vote? If you vote for Person #3, there is no way he will ever reach the driver's seat. And if you vote for Person #3, you may well indirectly help Bus Driver #1 win the vote. And thus may be responsible for inflicting a great deal of harm on the people in the bus. But you might feel good for holding the high moral ground, even as the bus goes over the cliff.

    So what do you do?

I just read all 17 pages. The answer is obvious. Stand up in the back seat and open the door and advise everyone to jump for their lives. A true leader would stay to the last man out. However, I’m more and more convinced that in an emergency, these sheep are pretty much not worth saving. If anything, there needs a huge reckoning in this country, way overdue.

I'm still voting for Trump. He isn't perfect, but he has either delivered on his promises, or has IMO made an honest attempt to deleiver on them. In this political arena, that means a lot to me.

Dr. Jo is a bit milquetoast, but I'd really like to see Spike Cohen in the VP debates.

Based on my own sets of principles, I don't want to vote for either Democratic nominee or Republican incumbent. I don't agree with the stance on issues from the former and behavior of the latter.

I think very few people are 100% in agreement with a single party. One size does not fit all, and when you have a population of 350 million, 2 sizes do not fit all.

This nation desperately needs about 15-20 more healthy, viable political parties, at a minimum. As you know, that's an extremely difficult goal; even getting one more party with enough backing to appear in the Presidential debates is virtually impossible.

I think the best choice is to work hard towards the health of additional political parties that more accurately represent your political viewpoint, but until that happens, vote R so that you still have a country in which to live.

The libertarian party needs to start out in local elections and work their way up. Government starts at the zip code you live in. Running for local offices would give them a chance to put their plans into action and let the folks see them at work firsthand.

Some of you guys want a parliamentarian system. Or a president where even a smaller percentage of the voters actually elect them.

If you have a crap ton of "viable" parties and only 40 percent of eligible voters vote your going to have a president elected by 15 percent of the population.

Look at history and around the world. That never ends well.

Except the electoral college forbids that. Nice try though

I’ve been doing some reading and I will continue to research the Libertarian Party. What I have seen so far really has my curiosity but I’ve never heard of any of these people and their doesn’t seem to be enough support (local offices). Man, when I read their platform it encompasses more of my beliefs than any other party.

Antonio, welcome to TGT from here in East Texas.

I AM a one issue voter. 2nd Amendment. Why? Simple. Most candidates who are Pro-2A, tend to be rather conservative and usually tend to be pretty much in line with my thoughts and opinions on other issues. Not always, but usually. Why the 2nd Amendment being so important? Simple, without the right to bear arms and to defend myself, and without the protection of the 2nd Amendment, what defense is there of any other of our rights? IMO, there isn't any defense of our other rights. That is my belief in why the Founding Father thought that the 2nd Amendment was so important, that it was the second right they acknowledged as being such an important right to affirm for the citizens. That it was there to oppress tyranny from the government.

In many ways, I too am a libertarian, of some sorts. I wish there was something more than just a two party system of voting that we have had for way too many years. But, at present time, we have to look at the bigger picture. Trump campaigned on delivering certain things, such as, more and better jobs, a healthier economy, a stronger national defense, border walls, and many other things. He has either delivered, or is attempting to deliver on those promises.

Trump was not my first choice in 2016. It was Ted Cruz. When Trump got the nomination for president, I put my faith and support behind him and voted for him. Hillary wasn't an option for me. I don't like her or her politics or her attitude. I AM one of those "deplorables" she despises, and disrespected. Trump isn't perfect, but he sure is a damn sight a thousand times better than Hillary Clinton IMO.

I have too been looking at Jo Jorgensen as well. I do like some of her policies and opinions. But, waiting until five months before the national elections was a bad decision to make IMO. IF she is serious about running, she should have been out campaigning at least a year ago, of not two years ago. Personally, I don't see her having a chance of winning, so no I won't be voting for her. Trump is the best option at this stage of the game. So Trump will be getting my vote. IMO, voting for anyone other than Trump, is a vote for Biden and his handlers, and whomever they put with Biden to run the Democratic show in November.

I will not tell you how to vote, or who to vote for. That is your choice entirely, and your right. It is entirely your business on who you vote for, and you owe me, nor anyone else any justifications on your choice. But you offered the question, and this simply my opinions on why and who I will be voting for.
I couldn't agree more. Exposure is the name of the game and she's got very little. Idk why the Lib party hasn't hardly used social media to spread their message. They should have had a nominee by the time the Dem debates started, that way the party could address the same issues brought up at debates under a unified candidate.
