They can decline the sale and ask me to leave if they feel strongly about it. I’ll abide.

That's reasonable so long as they only have to ask you once or notify you once.

The people aggressively challenging another's property rights confuse me.

    Looting is wrong.

Defiantly ignoring a lawful request and challenging a property owner to use force is ok.

    Vandalism is selfish.

Feeling proud of yourself for ignoring a property owner's request is not selfish.

"They can't tell me what to do with my body."

I can tell them what to do with their hard earned capital.

These things do not compute. I really don't get it. It's one thing to stand up to the government who's only income is theft (taxes) but an entirely different thing to do this to a private entity.

Why wouldn't you do what the business asks you to do? Your feelings matter more than their property rights?
The mask orders are what is infringing on their property rights. Many businesses do not want to have to ask their customers to wear a mask, but they are being coerced to do so.

Fine. But then your beef is with the politicians.

Forcing a business owner to decide whether to use some level of force against you or take the risk of force being used on the business owner by the government is not cool.

Or, what if the business owner really thinks masks, questionnaires, whatever really is the best thing to do for themselves, their employees, and/or their customers.

In either case, the business owner has done nothing wrong.

The obstinate customer is totally in the wrong.

Another thing I heard in passing was that the govt was forcing business owners to force their customers to wear masks or else they were going after the business owners. OK, that's horrible, but let's say the business owner complies, and denies service to the customer or etc.

The customer then sues the business owner, saying they have some reason not to wear a mask, or the mask was just a cover-up used by the business owner to discriminate against them or etc, etc.

Now the business owner has to defend him/herself in court, at great cost.

So the issue I thought was unresolved was: Is the govt going to indemnify business owners against mask-related lawsuits? If the govt is going down this (imo) stupid road of forcing business owners to become the police, how can they not indemnify the business owners? Maybe this has already been resolved? I missed much of this on the news the other day, so I'm behind on this issue....

My position has always been that government should not be coercing anyone or any business through an executive order.

If a business chooses to make a requirement on their own, that’s their right and I’ll respect it. But, I’m not required to spend my money at that business. Costco is a perfect example. We haven’t been there since they voluntarily implemented the mask.

Since Bexar Co implemented enforcement requirements on businesses recently, we have actively chosen to take all of our business to Kendall county because until recently the government there hasn’t been coercive of the people or business.

In return, those businesses funnel my share of tax dollars to the government. It’s a much larger share than before.

With Kendall county’s decision to implement an order instead of having an open meeting, I’m now either going to Kerr county, doing without, or having to pick the lesser of two evil governments to fund.

Remember when Clayton Williams said that thing about getting raped? Well, I’m trying to figure out how to enjoy it.

Oh yeah, that required temperature shit sure did go away quick.

I’m still wondering why if this virus is so deadly and contagious that we don’t see any biohazard boxes anywhere to dispose of the used masks and gloves potentially contaminated with the virus. Instead they are disposed of in the regular garbage or in the case of corpitos they are left in the parking lots next to the dirty diapers.

Wearing a mask won’t kill anyone. It really is t that big of a deal. Wear the mask get your shit done and Move on with life.

It’s coming. I’m trying to find the balance but I don’t think there will be one before long. While I feel like many that requiring a mask is a bit too far in the end I don’t think we will get a choice. I hope a vaccine is available soon.
