I personally know two families who got Covid. Pretty much everyone tested positive, some got sick, none were hospitalized and all recovered

Sounds like good justification for shutting down the economy to me.

Don’t forget to wear you mask so it looks extra scary.

I went to the walmart in Kaufman today and was confronted by the shopping cart guy. He ask if my wife and I needed a mask and I told him no. He then told me that masks were required and I told him that I will not wear a mask. He then told me that I might be asked to leave and I just walked on in the store. No one asked us to leave. I only saw 1 other person in the store without a mask.

I hope that other people will be encouraged to not wear a mask after seeing my wife and I not wearing one.

I have to admit that it is nice to be back at the house and not in the Kaufman jail.

7,959 new cases in Texas yesterday. Up from around 2k per day two weeks ago. This thing is starting to get legs.
But what type, weak american or fresh from Mexico's first wave and who. Plus the ICU and death rate is important . Local hospitals CEOs say that context is important and they are fine.

CDC as of yesterday still said people with breathing problems shouldn't wear a mask.

    I checked.

What was gone was the wording that if you cant maintain social distancing inside you should then wear a mask

    What tomorrow might bring?

The Boerne mayor was overheard stating his position on requiring masks is specifically due to the number of shoppers recorded at local Boerne H‑E‑B and Home Depot that have an SAT area zip code.
Just wondering how they know ANY customer's ZIP code? I don't think we have ever given them ours (Pipe Creek), but I guess we are "foreigners", too...

How many people do you think punch in their zip codes when asked by the little card reader box?

    Oh, THOSE people!
I have done so at the gas pump before. Don't recall ever doing at HEB.

    Not sure if they ask.

The ones at Academy and Cabelas seem to want to know and the checker always says “enter your zip code”, then I look them right in they eyes and hit “cancel”.

They either die a little inside, or don’t give a shit and talk about the creepy guy that makes eye contact too much after I leave.

I give them a random zip code. Let 'em think someone from California keeps driving to Texas to shop.

First time Academy asked me to enter my zip code I said, Ummm, No. She said, ok, hit cancel then. I've hit cancel everytime since, without being prompted.
