    Somewhere in Texas!
Pan fried pork chops, new red potatoes (the small ones first) with some lemon pepper sprinkled on them, fresh boiled yellow squash and just picked today golden bantam yellow corn!! and for dessert, fresh baked peach pie!

Saturday before I put up pickles, I went out to pick some wild grape leaves to put in the pickles (tannins help keep them a bit crispy), and the wild mustang grapes are close to being ready, time to put a 5 gallon bucket in the truck, and start checking them daily. Wild grape jelly is just fantastic!!!

Food is everywhere if you just look!

I have never heard that about grape leave. I have eaten many a stuffed grape leaves & often figured that just came from hard times. Damn now I want to hit Phoenician Market for a can of stuffed grape leave!

Lots of Greek dishes use grape leaves as wrappers. I'm assuming that it also adds to the flavor profile as well as being a wrapper?

Those ribeyes last night turned out great! Made some huge baked potatoes as well. Grilled some bacon to crunchy and crumbled it up for bacon bits of the potatoes. Also buttered some rolls, dusted them with garlic powder and toasted them on the grill as well. Grilled some boudain as well, and it was pretty danged good too!

I grilled four of them ribeyes last night and I have one lonely one left! Going to make some steak fries to go with it for tonight, and some garlic toast.
