Sometimes I really have to wonder how it is that some cops are on the job at all, especially the ones who are overly eager to use physical force. I see absolutely no reason for the officer in this video to have resorted to physical force on this old timer, first pushing with his hand, then with his ballistic shield and knocking the man over. Of course the old timer could have presented some sort of threat with his back to the officer as he was walking away in exactly the direction the officer had pushed him in the first place but it certainly is not obvious that there was any sort of threat. Frigging idiot, does he not realize all the crap happening now was due to, or is being purported to have been caused by, police brutality in the first place and does he not realize that cameras are everywhere, and did he somehow miss the cane or the fact that the geezer was apparently complying. I must be missing something that justified that knockdown - then again maybe not.

Not condoning it, but the elderly gentleman was still in the same spot after the other guy was told to move along.
    He never moved.

    Obviously it was overkill.

No excuse for knocking him over. Had they acted properly, they would not have needed to help him up.

You really think the cop had malicious intent when pushing the old man? I sure don't see it that way......I don't think he thought he was pushing him hard enough to fall down.......he did fall...but I don't think it was malicious....

I'm all for bad cops getting their due.....but this isn't one of those incidents............jmho...

As for acting properly ....when you're told to move on....you move on......

That is one heck of a strong accusatory statement to make, do you have anything to back it up other than conjecture?
I cant find the video in particular. But there were undercover police officers caught smashing windows in Minnesota. Of course not every instance of that was a police officer, but it is entirely possible you have leftist cops who want to exacerbate the problem. Is this particular instance, I cant back that up. But notice how all these videos of cops doing suspect things, and breaking protocol are coming from cities where the mayors are all democrats.

Are you trying to use that video to prove an undercover police officer was smashing windows? What was there, if anything, to show he was an undercover officer? Did he say he was an officer (would that be proof), did he show his credentials and or badge, was it because he wore a gas mask, was it because he was dressed in black carrying an umbrella:rolleyes:, did someone in the crowd say he was a cop and if so how did that person know, did he get into his patrol car and drive away? I must have missed something that ID'd him as a UC Officer; and to think, I was a trained investigator for about 26 years of my 32 year LE career - yet I missed it!

Well...not much more to say......the cop seemed concerned after the fact......I would have kicked the Boomer while he was down........

    (sarcasm)
    You could be right.

I wondered if he did not get concerned until the saw the cameras.

Really - are you kidding me? You are using shit that agitators posted online to say it is the same guy. First off, look at the color of the filter cannisters in the video and in the photo. Are they the same? At 22 seconds into the video you can plainly see the filter cannisters on the guy smashing the windows are gray not pink or whatever is that color. Anyone could post two pics of one guy and say - oh my goodness it's him. Can you imagine why, maybe that cop has enemies. Who outed him? It says people who know him. Who. In addition, is that pic of him with the gas mask on a Photoshop job? That would be pretty easily done. Pay close attention to the smearing lower left side (as you look at it - your left) of the plastic face shield and of the mouth/nose piece. They are smeared with Caucasian colored flesh tone. Also, on left of nose/mouth piece, the left edge about halfway between his right eye and bottom edge of the clear plastic face-shield has flesh colored smearing coming into it. This is not evidence of anything yet; could it be him - maybe but not based on this stuff can you prove anything. By the way, do you believe everything you read on Twitter that folks post as evidence?
