    I'll bet no one born before 1985 ever had a real set of encyclopedias at home.

    Yes encyclopedia sales men were a thing. Yearly up dates were a thing. 6 feet tall stack of knowledge was how most of us learned. It cost hundreds of dollars in then money. Expensive shit and your parents went into debt big time or made a deal for an older set some rich family was tossing out.

    Now, the sum total knowledge is at your fingertips. Hell I dont think they even make digital encyclopedia discs anymore.

    Next time we will discuss learning to spell and build vocabulary by using a book call a dictionary. You had to memorize every word as you learned them

    Then a book call a thesaurus taught you big words.
