What packs you guys got? I’m pretty happy with Blackhawk.

An AWS molle day pack is my go to for work or times where i don't care about looking tactical. They dont have them any more, but for $60 it was a steal.

Road trips/vacations and i have a VERTX EDC gamut and gamut plus

Maxpedition is good stuff. I have several pieces of the Legacy stuff. My BO bag is a very large Maxpedition BP.

The Condors are okay, I have one. It's a bit bulky. I bought a new one and couldn't be happier. It has a much slimmer profile being a jumper. The shoulder straps don't get in the way when shouldering a rifle, this was the biggest improvement. I added some pads to the straps but they don't interfere. The jumper with ceramic plates is the best setup I've found for a reasonable price. This is my main one now:

Okay I got a question. I'm looking at the Esstac Kywi mag pouches (Yeah I've been watching Garand Thumb) and they have the option for "WTF Straps" or belt loops.

My question is; WTF are WTF Straps? I figured they're the molle straps, but I want to be sure before dropping $70 bucks on mag pouches.

Basically "fabric" MALICE clips. They use hypalon which is what lots of companies use for attaching things. Crye uses it alot in their carriers. Holds up pretty well

There’s a few guys rocking Condor PCs over here, and their stuff is coming apart at the seams under the weight of the Level 4 SAPIs we get issued. They could have delayed gratification and gotten a good carrier from a reputable manufacturer (there are none in China) that would have done the job a lot better.
I’m a big fan of minimalist carriers, and the Ferro Slickster is my current rig. Have been wearing it daily for two years, both concealed and overt, and it is nothing less than amazing.
I picked up a set of AT Armor STOP plates, and now my whole rig weighs as much as just one of the issued plates. Comfort, I haz it.

I use 1” double sided Velcro tape to attach MOLLE pouches to my belt, and it works very well. It’s also CHEAP at $10 for a bigass roll of it on Amazon.

An added benefit of the Velcro tape is that it helps anchor the pouches against the inner Velcro panel of my belt, which is something hard plastic belt loops and MALICE clips don’t do very well at all.

Composite low profile plates are the bee’s knees, y’all. The AT Armor STOP/Tencate 2000SA plates are rated for M193, M855 and will take one round of 7.62x39 API-BZ, which is a pretty darn good rating for a half inch thick triple curve SAPI that weighs less than 5 pounds.
They run about $500 a plate, but believe me, after walking around in a set of these things for the last two years, they are worth every penny.

Hanging on a nail isn't going to tell you anything. Actually using a carrier will tell you how the drag handle holds up, how well the plate bags handle plate corners, how webbing holds up, how the velcro holds up...

The first generation of condor products was nothing more than a really good look a like. They put a lot of quality into them, but the shit was all retarded. I wouldn;t be surprised if they're pretty good with the kinks fixed.

I put a Condor chest rig together. Its got everything I need on it for a quick grab & go SHTF scenario all in one place. It seems pretty well made so... Hopefully never need to use it but I pull it out every other month or so to function check.
