    hj,

Get laid or drink some beer, sheesh...your panic button is maxed out!
Nope, just posting some funny things I heard. Is that not allowed for new people to the forum either ?

I think maybe you are the one in a panic. Seems to be you are easily riled up. Are you like this all the time ?

Remember Madge . . "you're soaking in it".

He's like soaking in a barrel of astringent, on his GOOD day. ;)

Seat belts didn't come as standard equipment.
Air conditioning wasn't available in a pickup.
    Automatic transmissions were luxury options.
    WTF is a bucket seat?
Console? That's the record player in the living room back at home.
Vent windows. So the bug guts could splatter all over you.

    I remember many things.

It's sometimes sad to remember them.

That life seemed so much simpler.

Mostly as I get older, I remember family and friends that are gone.

But the memories, are what make remembering special!

Live like yesterday was your last day, and keep making new memories, because in the end, that's all we can truly call our own.

    This:

"Mostly as I get older, I remember family and friends that are gone."

And with the passing years, I find that there are fewer left.

Last January, my father's last aunt passed away. She was 82, the youngest of twelve brothers and sisters, my grandmother being the second eldest of them. She was only four years older than my father.

My own father is in decent health, but I also realize he's not going to live forever.

Hope you talk to him often. My dad passed away 20 years ago and I still think of the great talks we had over the years.

Getting older I can remember a lot of remember whens. As I get closer to retirement I'm not thinking as much about weekends, but then I like my job. Well, before this whole pandemic thing came along that is.

Week ain't no different now that the corona bug is around. Basically same old sh-t, different day, now wearing a mask sometimes and using a lot more alcohol to clean my hands. Less range time but life goes on for most, sadly it does not for as many as we would have wanted.
