i have not seen a hair cut place in over 20 years.

At 20 I had racing stripes and to hell with that I have shaved my head from that point on.

Same for me in the last decade-ish.
Wish I had started shaving my head when I was younger...it’s so easy.

I just run a razor over my head every time I take a shower.

I cant remember how long ive been shaving mine. It was a few years before i got married so pushing close to 20yrs

I had always kept my head shaved with a #2. Then the wife showed me a picture from when we were 1st dating, it looked like i hair plugs in the picture. I told her, how come you didnt tell me it looked like i had hair plugs.... she said... it dosent look like that in real life.
Off to the bathroom i went & its been shaved since then.

I too have not been to a barber for a hair cut in 38 years. I was a long haired hippy kid until punk rock when I went to a mohawk parrot green & red. That cost to much to maintain so I grabbed the Walh's my dad cut my hair with as a kid U started doing flat tops.

When the bald spot got to big I started shaving my head. As my back got worse I started growing a beard hoping work would jack with me. After all my beard has religous significane to me. I was the only one who did not have a problem wearing the beard net.

I seldom trim my beard, mainly the sideburns because I hate when they get blown into my eyes. I still trim my nose, ear & hair around my mouth. Washing out the beard after eating is a PITA, but beats having food in it

Been shaving my head for 6 -7 years now. Actually I use a buzzer set at O. Much faster and good enough. And I’m wearing a mask so you people can’t give me that shit you got.

    Hoji,

Why on earth did you give up the 'look' to now look so bourgeois?

    Age and wisdom?

Shaved the Mohawk when I turned 30.Stood it up with epoxy and it was bright green. Shaved it with a straight razor and superglued it to a human skull I bought from a medical teaching catalog and sent it to a very good friend as a wedding gift.

she still has the mohawked skull, but not the loser she married.

Started working on getting the whole skull tattooed at that point.

A real barber shop is rare now days. "Stylists" now all over. I have been going to this place for 35 years now and they have been open since 1953.

Yeah, just down the street from Crestview was Cockrell's Barber Shop at the Violet Crown Shopping Center. A week after I got my last ever store-bought hair cut from them, they closed (in 2017). In business for 50+ years & I closed them. So, out of concern for the small business man, I don't do store-bought anymore

Went across the street last week to get a haircut. The hair cutting place had a sign in the window - closed until the shelter in place order is cancelled. Had no clue that anything like that was in place, called city hall, they said that at 1159 that night one would be going into effect for Bowie County and that was all they could tell me. Needless to say - no haircut yet.

I traded off and on with Cockrell's when I worked for UPS from 85 to 95. They were on my route and if I could get in at lunch time I let them do it. They used to have a good DPS clientele there back then.
