Still have and love my Indian Dark Horse two years later. Other than some minor things, has been trouble free.

Of course my first post on a gun forum is about motorcycles. I just can't seem to get away from two wheels, not that I'd want to of course....

This is my current love, my 2005 BMW F650GS Dakar. Or as my friends call it, an over-engineered German DR650

I’m feeling weird. Harley bought Ducati a few years back (after I got mine) and I used to own a Husky, when KTM owned them.

    Am I ok?

Harley does Not own Ducati - they bought Buell
    Lambrogini owns Ducati

Took the 3 boys for some neighborhood ruckus. One at a time obviously. Perfect evening.

I am setting it up so that they can start riding it in a couple years.

This 1996 Yamaha Virago 535S was my first bike. My brother-in-law needed a car really bad so I traded him a Plymouth Neon (we weren't using) for it. It was entirely too small for me but it was a fun little bike. I eventually bought the 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900LT and had it for 10 years before I traded it in for the Road King. IMO the RK is far superior in handling and ride compared to the Vulcan. Side note: The Neon was ugly AF but it never gave us any trouble.

After nearly a year collecting bits, I did a major suspension overhaul on my Honda Grom. They are a fun shooter but designed for a 100lb Asian. I spent a couple hours thursday, Friday and today during work. I am in the auto business and it slowed enough that i made a deal with my boss to let me work on it in the shop as opposed to just not coming in..

The wheels on the face-lift bike are cast aluminum with crappy vee rubber tires. I tracked down some of the first gen rims. They are forged enkei rims with Michelin power pure tires. I had a buddy paint them Porsche GT3 gold. I also installed a big EBC brake rotor up front. It uses the stock caliper and pad set but with a spacer to allow the big rotor.

Full suspension upgrade; ohlins rear shock, ohlins front fork spring kit with valves, ohlins 5wt oil. Finally, I replaced the rear swing arm bushings with brass and stainless sleeves and used a titanium swing arm bolt. The thing articulates super smooth.

Probably way more money than a guy should spend on a grom. It does make the ride much better with one of my kids on the back though.
