Prop #1 - would undoubtedly have to allow Islamic prayer in schools too. (Prayer mats to be stored in school lockers?)

Separation of church and state (& educational system).

And when Clinton was elected, how'd that feel?
It felt like *hit which was the reason for my post. It is not always wise to vote with your gut instead of your brain. Anything that helps a democrat get a senate seat in Texas is bad. I just hope this "send a message to Cornyn" doesn't backfire and put a democrat in his place.

    Don't see that happening.

"Worse" case (actually best case, IMHO) is that Stovall wins. He appears to be a solid candidate who would win the general.

And if Cornyn wins the primary, no reason to think he would not win the general again.

    .......
Hopefully correct. Not logical that one who voted in the primary for Cornyn, would pick a helicopter pilot over Stovall.

If I vote for the best man for the job, I'm not liable for the outcome of the election unless he wins. That's on those who voted for the eventual winner. Good or bad.
That's how I see it. Ain't likely to change my mind at this age.

I'll blame it on you anyway.

Unfortunately, due to seniority, he is the Majority Whip, 2nd in charge next to McConnell - that he doesn't want to lose.
Don't know about Stovall, he's tried to get elected 3 times. Shows he and wife are officers of his company, no other info available.
All-in-all, Tx Rep. leadership won't finance anybody but Cornyn.

Last day for early Primary voting is today, Friday (28th). Hopefully, still no waiting lines!

Tomorrow is ‘Leap Year’ Day (29th).

Was in the voting area about 20-25 minutes total. Didn’t see anyone in the D line. Not surprising though, it’s pretty red here. Hopefully Stovall gets it and hopefully we get an actual conservative in the House from my district too. ‘Murica!
