    Morning
    Learned a lesson this morning.

Walking up hill and dale with the pup, ran across a neighbor's beloved 90 pound dog, who is never left out, a mile from their house and apparently heading to Missouri.

You can't walk with a cane in one hand, one dog on a leash, another on a makeshift leash using your belt ... and hold up your pants at the same time.

That'll teach me to lose all that fat ...

Why you never look a gift horse in the mouth ... or apparently hire a "framer" from Arkansas.

Anyone even remotely familiar with rudimentary carpentry will get a chuckle, or gasp of incredulity, out of this:

    Basically, un-farkin' believable ...

We'll file that under "I never thought THAT would happen."

...And here I thought I knew of all the ways to screw things up

I've uncovered a ton of sins in 20 years of remodeling, but this is one for the record books.

It's also a trap for an unsuspecting guest and an accident just waiting to happen, not if but when.

When the yearly drawdown of the lake back in November went down, I crawled under and couldn't believe my eyes.

With time running out before the lake level goes back up, and the weather cooperating for a change, just got around to tearing all this out this morning.

    After photos will happen ...
