Assuming he's the nominee, I can't imagine he'd pick a running mate that wasn't either minority or female. Maybe he thinks "Beto" is Hispanic.

Having said that, I really don't know how this is going to go. I hate to express any sympathy for any of them because they're all horrible but dang they're screwing over Sanders, again, and they're not even trying to hide it this time.

That's been generally the thought process many times over the years....pick a running mate from a battleground state or a state that's ripe for a turn. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. In this case, it's a pipe dream after the last debate Robert Francis took part in where he declared "hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15."

Even the dems said enough after that. And this is Texas.....so there's that problem. I can see that clip playing over and over again as November nears if that pencil neck is on the ticket.
