It's not about being offended, it's about re-hashing the same ole crap over and over again.

    Now we’re gettin’ nowhere.
    And.......
    I think we're "backing up"!
As long as you are backing up from plastic......

In 50 years, a quality wood and steel gun, in beat up, may be worth more than a new one. And have more character than when it was bought.
Plastic,,,,,not so much. It will just look like beat up plastic.

I like the look, feel, strength and recoil absorption. I find them smoother all the way around. I'm not partial to any specific finish, yet I do prefer revolvers.

As I stated in the other half of this thread, I like both metal and plastic pistols. My ratio between them is pretty close to 50/50.

I just counted and did the math:

87% of my pistols (excluding BP) are all metal (except for grips)

    13% have polymer frames

I guess I prefer metal but I readily admit my EDC is a Glock. When it comes to the all metal guns, I think mine are about equally divided between those that are all steel as opposed to those with alloy frames. Someday, I'll take a magnet and test that.
