This front has been stalled damn near all day. There’s a narrow strip been getting hammered for a while, but I’m not so sure it won’t Peter out overnight.

We need the rain, but so far....nothing.

BTW: I'm mid 50ies and have only lived in Harris and now for +10yrs a rural SETX county so I understand what you meant.

I was out in it earlier this evening. The spotter network was fired up about 13:00 today but since most of it sat out in Parker and Wise counties through most of the day we didn’t do much until the dry line started moving.
