Now see, who says "gun folk" are low brow unsophisticated rubes with no ability to partake of the arts and only watch movies for the nudity?

    Well besides other gun folk?

We grew up watching many of these, but it never really feels like the Christmas season until you’ve watched “It’s A Wonderful Life.”

Not being a boomer, that may seem odd, but my dad played that one every year. There was no shooting your eye out at my house. National Lampoon may make an honorable mention, though again not really played at my house.

I’ll find the real video that makes me think of Christmas, tomorrow. (Though MUCH newer than most.)

Some of my Christmas movie favorites other than my favorite Groundhog Day are:

    Bad Santa
    Home Alone
    The Bishop's Wife
    A Christmas Story
    Bell, Book & Candle
    It's A Wonderful Life
    Christmas In Connecticut
    A Charlie Brown Christmas
    Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
Miracle On 34th Street (the original)
A Christmas Carol (1984 with George C. Scott)
A Christmas Carol (B&W classic 1938(?) and the one from the 50s)
The March of the Wooden Soldiers (aka: Babes in Toyland). It really cannot be Christmas without this one! It used to be shown on Thanksgiving then again on Christmas Day every year for many, many years.

While it is not a movie, one of my favorite Christmas shows was and remains the Twilight Zone episode: The Night Of The Meek with Art Carney. Truly a classic and one of the best TZ episodes ever.
