Have Gen 3, 4 and now 5. The 19X is the best shooting striker fired I have ever shot straight out-a-box. Only pistol I have that shoots better is the new Kimber Aegis Pro I just got.

I was told a while back to keep an eye out for what's coming from Glock. Was also told that I would probably like what I saw. And this person pretty much knows I'm not a Glockhead.

That said, I have a gen4 19 and 17 but I think out of the box, the gen 5 has a better trigger and so I would rather have both of those in gen5

I still carry and regularly shoot a Gen 2 G19 that I bought used in 1996. Hasn’t failed me once.

I would be looking for a G21, but since it is not available in Gen 5, I would have to go Gen 4.

I like the 19x it’s one of my favorite guns to shoot at this time. I even let a Glock nay sayer shoot it at the range after explaining I’m not a Glock fan but he needs to give it a try.before proclaiming Glocks are junk. (He was saying the are not accurate)Lol of course he shot low and left then proceed to tell me they all shoot low and left. I told him it was his grip and told him I’ll aim for the 7 and then put a hole on the 7 and shocked myself lol.

So far, the 19x/G45 are probably the best guns glock has ever made.

I had fallen out of love with glock after my not so great experience with my gen 4 19, but the 19x brought me right back

Have you shot the Sig P320 Legion? If so, how does it compare? Thanks

I bought the 19X from a man that had bought both. He liked the Sig. I shot both when I bought the Glock. I shot better with it. I never have developed an appreciation for Sigs. TO ME the Glocks fit my hands better and feel better. I also think they are simpler to maintain. Nothing against Sig from me. Just not my gun. I do think the 19X shoots better than any striker fired I have ever shot. Great trigger and the marksman barrel seems to make a difference. The Legion was smooth as silk though.
