Sunrise somewhere outside of Amarillo this morning...three more nights chasing pipelines across the country and then 600+ miles back to houston will wrap another 1500 mile work week.
Theres a method to the madness...some day my girls will live a life that I never got to experience. I took my first oilfield job offshore because I was technically homeless and needed a roof over my head, and i got that for at least two weeks a month while getting paid for the comfort of a warm bed and hot meals. I hate those miserable days, but almost 20 years later, the provide valuable perspective into where I've been and where I'm going. I do it all for my babies.
